Hello fellow sewists, DIYers, fashionistas and crafters. I’d like to keep the gift giving going well into January and share some sewing knowledge with all of you through a copy of Sew it All Magazine.
I have the latest issue of Sew it All, Volume 5 to give away this month. So, if you don’t yet have a copy, Enter Now to Win!!!
I received two copies for Christmas and couldn’t think of anybody with who I’d rather share the double copy. Just leave a comment below telling us “what is your favourite Sewing or Crafting magazine?” Good Luck to All! Entries close Sunday January 13th, 2013 so get your comments in before Monday January 14th.
I will draw and post the lucky winner here on my blog as well as message the winner (either through their blog or via email, so be sure that I am able to get in touch with you).
Don’t forget to “like” Gjeometry’s page on Facebook and follow the blog to keep updated!
I’d have to say my favourite crafting mag is Vogue Knittin. However I have never explored a sewing mag. 🙂
My daughter-in-law got me a copy of “Quick Stuff To Sew” magazine once! It was fun to read! 🙂
You have a very lovely blog. I am very impressed!!! I would love to enter to win this magazine. It looks like it is filled with lots and lots of good stuff 🙂
Thank you!! You are entered Lori Harris, but we’d also love to hear what is your favourite crafting or sewing magazine.
ooohhh…. that is a hard one. I change my mind a lot. Currently, my favorite sewing magazine is Sew Beautiful. They always have very beautiful projects and helpful tips.
I really like Quilting Arts Magazine and Cloth, Paper, Scissors. I find the work of the selected artists are so pretty to look at and are inspiring to me.
Hi! If you would send the magazine to Sweden I would love to take part in the giveaway. Here in Sweden there are only three sewing magazines: Allt om handarbete sömnad, Burdastyle and Ottobre design. I subscribe to the first two, but I think I prefer Ottobre design. 🙂 But I would love to read a sewing magazine I’ve never seen before. 🙂
I’m also having a giveaway on my blog, please feel welcome to participate!
Yes Johanna, I will be more than happy to send the magazine anywhere there is mail/courier service available! I will check out the giveaway on your blog, thanks 🙂
Ooh, this looks like a fun magazine!
My favourite crafting magazines are Quilting Arts and Quiltmania – both are full of beautiful inspiration.
Really like this blog! I like Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting…They also have free patterns on their website…The Quilter Magazine is alsos another good one…
Clicked over from TSL 🙂 I always want to subscribe to a magazine but never do, I borrow from the library.. I think Theads Magazine would be a fav, but I havent seen ‘Sew It All’ yet!
I am looking for a magazine to subscribe for fresh ideas. This looks like a nice one!
My favourite sewing mag is Burdastyle, but I haven’t looked at a lot of them really. This one looks cool!
I love BurdaStyle… Gotta love those patterns! I also enjoy The Quilter. 🙂
I haven’t read one yet but hoping It’s going to be Sew it all!!
I love this magazine!
I’ve never opened a sewing mag, however I do like Just CrossStitch. I only buy the special holiday issues. I must have 200 cross stitch magazines dating as far back as the 80’s. These days, I’m more into sewing vs cross stitch, however I do pick up a needle for worthy causes like Cole’s Quilts or the quilts for the Sandy Hook survivors. I’m making a Peace square for the Mother’s quilt which will be given to the shooter’s brother. I sew Little Dresses for Africa and blankets and walker caddies for the veteran’s center.
I like Vogue magazine for the clothes, but I also like Cloth, Paper, Scissors. I have been on this kick buying books from Norway (Tilda series) and New Zeland (Melly and Me series) as I have gotten into sewing plushies. Since loosing my cat, and becoming ill, I have appreciated the need to some have unconditional love. Someone or something to come home to in order to cuddle and cry into – and in return just have your hair petted and big loving eyes look back at you. I began to appreciate, when you’re alone, how nice it is to bring a cozy and comfy item that you can hold on to and squeeze and will stay will you throughout the treatment no matter how painful. I developed a line of what I call Cozies for individuals to feel warmth, safe, and comfort no matter what is going on in the outside world. I would like to learn how to make more and how to market the Cozies so they sell.
Hi there, don’t enter me in the giveaway please, I have all I need-just wanted to stop by and say hi and also suggest that it might be a good idea to review what’s in the mag so people know what it’s all about. Cheers.
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Yes, good idea, I gave a link to the Sew it All website, so people can click on it, but I will also add a bit about what’s inside this issue. Hope everything is good with you over on your blog today!
Hi! I would like to join too.
I’m new to North American sewing and crafts issues. I’ve had a subscription for Threads and I found interesting tips there. But for now my favorite mag is Ottobre for kids.
I would love to check it out, there is nothing like that here in France.
Perfect, good luck! Can you also tell us what is your favourite sewing or crafting magazine? Even if they are in French, that’s ok, we’re just trying to discover and post all different kinds of magazines that can help everybody in their crafty adventures!
Burda in French, with kriptik instructions translated haphazardly. For crafting I would recommend Marie-Claire Idées, but I don’t read it.
Thank you carmencitabs. I will add that to our sewing magazine list.
‘Sew It All’ is a new one for me, I’ll have to take a look for it as just from the cover it looks great!
My favourite is ‘Sew Magazine’ (I think it might be a UK only publication) But I also enjoy reading ‘Threads’ and a fairly new UK magazine called ‘Homemaker’ from time to time
My fav sewing magazine is Stitches Australia – current to all the Down Under sewers among us. Also like Threads, and pick up a Burda every now and again. Haven’t seen Sew It All at our newsagents – would love to be the first Aussie to have a copy!!!
Sewing magazines are hard to come by here and of those I’ve encoutered and actually read Burdastyle wins. It would be fun to try something new.
Thank you sew very much!!! I just received the magazine today, and this just may become another “must have”. It is really well written and includes a ton of information. Now I can “Sew It All” 🙂
Hey Lori! Kitty and I are so pleased it arrived!! Enjoy it. And, ‘ha, good one!’ Lol.
